My name is Jess Fields, Jr., and I’m a fourth-generation licensed funeral director. My family has owned Rosewood Funeral Home in the Greater Houston Area since 1927. The field my grandfather originally bought as a small cemetery has grown into four funeral homes with two cemeteries and a crematory, and serves families of all backgrounds, faiths, and means.

The service folder is the one thing the family keeps, and it’s the thing that changes latest. Someone adds two pallbearers at nine at night, and by two the next afternoon you need forty clean copies. Program.Memorial builds the folder right in your browser and hands you a print-ready PDF that runs on the plain paper already in your building, or at any copy shop down the road. Fix a name at the last minute, reprint, and you’re set.

Most software folks introduce themselves with cold calls, but I’d rather introduce myself with a valuable product that you can use to create a better experience for the families you serve. This is a complete product that other people charge hundreds of dollars per year or more for, but costs extremely little to run, so I’m making it free forever with no strings attached. The only thing I ask is to have a chance to earn your business with other products I build — just as we all work with families to earn their respect over multiple generations.
